  • July 30, 2023:  in early July we finished a relatively large new lot of bulk O-2220 Okadaic Acid, Free Acid.  However, for the past three weeks all of our lab personnel have been out of the U.S. or were not at work because of health problems. 
              Those unavoidable absences delayed the preparation of the ammonium, sodium and potassium salts and subdivision of all four OA products into final-sale-size vials to fill backorders and new orders.
              We expect that our returning lab workers will be able to fill and ship all backorders for OA and its salts by Friday, August 4.   We apologize very much for these delays.

  • More than 1,000 labs worldwide have purchased Okadaic Acid or its salts from LC Labs, either directly from us or from our distributors and resellers (the latter resell under their own labels).
  • The free acid (Cat. No. O-2220), ammonium salt (Cat. No. O-6410), and sodium salt (Cat. No. O-5857) forms are also available.
  • The salt form of okadaic acid has somewhat greater stability than the free acid when stored in organic solvents. See notes on stability in the entry for okadaic acid, free acid (Cat. No. O-2220).
